The dance of the KPI

Some KPIs are more obvious than others.

Tracking and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is essential for measuring the success of a project and spotlighting areas for improvement, yet some KPIs are more salient than others.

Those pertaining to Return on Investment (ROI) and Stakeholder Satisfaction are intuitive enough. However, one KPI that frequently goes unsung is Change Request Frequency. In other words, how often are stakeholders asking for changes to the plan? A high number of requests might indicate a lack of clarity on the initial requirements of the project.
